Correspondence Seminar Inspired by Chemistry Topics (KSICHT) is a correspondence competition targeted on high school students with chemistry in their curriculum. KSICHT tries to inspire the students with chemically-themed problems in an entertaining way. Four sets of chemical problems are sent to participants during a school year. Students try to solve them and they send their solutions back to organizers either by mail or electronically via KSICHT webpage (http://ksicht.natur.cuni.cz). Organizers correct the students’ solutions, mark them and send them corrected back to participants with author’s solution and a new set of problems taken from all domains of chemistry. Two trips are also organized to help students to establish social contact with their colleagues with similar interest in chemistry. The best participants can also attend week-long final convention organized at Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague (PřF UK) by actual and former students of PřF UK and other Czech universities.
